Who will be the starting QB in 2008 for the LSU Tigers?

Who will be the starting QB in 2008 for the LSU Tigers?  The 2007 National Champions have several options.  Andrew Hatch is a Harvard transfer who is a sophomore in eligibility due to a medical redshirt for the 2007 season after taking only a few snaps last year against Middle Tennessee.  Jarrett Lee is a redshirt freshman from Brenham, Texas.  And Jordan Jefferson, a true freshman from Destrehan, Louisiana, is still 17-years-old.

Despite the inexperience of his choices, coach Les Miles insists, according to the Baton Rouge Advocate, that “nothing is off the table.”

Some LSU fans see Hatch as the best option because he has more experience.  Others see Lee or Jefferson as the future of the team and think they should get more playing time to facilitate their development.  We will all have to stay tuned and see what happens as the LSU Tigers face the Appalachian State Mountaineers in Baton Rouge on August 30, 2008.
