Featured college football games – 2008, Week 2

  • Connecticut at Temple – Sat., Sept. 6, 2008
    The Connecticut Huskies of the Big East face off against the Temple Owls of the Mid-American Conference for the 5th time. The series is tied 2-2, with the Huskies winning 22-17 last season. The game will be televised by ESPNU at 12:00 p.m. ET.
  • West Virginia at East Carolina – Sat., Sept. 6, 2008
    Saturday’s game will be the 20th meeting between the Mountaineers of West Virginia and the Pirates of East Carolina. West Virginia has dominated the series, winning 17 of 19. The game will be televised by ESPN at 4:30 p.m. ET.
  • Miami at Florida – Sat., Sept. 6, 2008
    These State of Florida rivals first met in 1938 and have faced off 53 times. The Miami Hurricanes lead the series 28-25. They last met in the 2004 Peach Bowl and the Hurricanes beat the Gators 27-10. The game will be televised by ESPN at 3:30 p.m. ET.
