SMU and Washington State Announce Home-and-Home Series For 2009-10

The SMU Mustangs and Washington State Cougars have announced a home-and-home college football series for the 2009 and 2010 seasons. The 2009 game will be played on September 19 at Washington State. The return game will be played on September 18, 2010 at SMU.
The two games for SMU replace previous games scheduled with the Missouri Tigers. The Tigers had to break the agreement due to scheduling conflicts.
The 2009 game will be the first ever meeting between SMU of Conference USA and Washington State of the PAC-10. The Mustangs finished the 2008 season 1-11 while the Cougars finished 2-11.
