Notre Dame and Army to play at new Yankee Stadium in 2010

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Army Black Knights will play the first ever college football game at the new Yankee Stadium in Bronx, New York. The game will be nationally televised on Saturday, November 20, 2010.

The two schools used to play regularly at the old Yankee Stadium from 1925 until 1946 (except 1930). They also played at Yankee Stadium again in 1969. In those 22 games, the Fighting Irish went 14-5-3 against the Black Knights.

Notre Dame and Army have met a total of 49 times since 1913. The Fighting Irish lead the overall series 37-8-4 and have won 13 in a row.
