Minnesota and North Carolina agree in principle to 2013-2014 Football Series

The Minnesota Golden Gophers and the North Carolina Tar Heels have agreed in principle to a home-and-home football series in 2013 and 2014. The Gophers will travel to face UNC on September 7, 2013. Minnesota will host North Carolina on September 13, 2014.
The 2013 game will be the first meeting between the Golden Gophers of the Big Ten and the Tar Heels of the ACC.
The Golden Gophers also announced several other non-conference games which have been added to their future schedules and main page.
