Featured college football games – 2009, Week 9

Week nine of the 2009 college football season features important conference games and some storied rivalries. ESPN Gameday will broadcast live from Eugene, Oregon, the site of the battle between the USC Trojans and the Oregon Ducks.

Listed below are the games with TV times and ticket options:

  • North Carolina at Virginia Tech – Thurs., Oct. 29, 2009
    The Hokies have won the last 5 games in this series. The game will be televised by ESPN at 7:30 p.m. ET.
  • Cincinnati at Syracuse – Sat., Oct. 31, 2009
    The Bearcats (No. 8 BCS) have won 4 in a row over the Orange. The game will be televised by ESPNU at 12:00 p.m. ET.
  • Florida vs. Georgia – Sat., Oct. 31, 2009
    The No. 1 Gators have won 16-of-19 against the Dawgs. The game will be televised by CBS at 3:30 p.m. ET.
  • Kansas at Texas Tech – Sat., Oct. 31, 2009
    The Jayhawks are 1-10 against the Red Raiders. The game will be televised by ABC and ESPN GamePlan at 3:30 p.m. ET.
  • Penn State at Northwestern – Sat., Oct. 31, 2009
    The Nittany Lions and Wildcats have split the last four games. The game will be televised by ESPN at 4:30 p.m. ET.
  • Notre Dame vs. Washington State – Sat., Oct. 31, 2009
    The Irish and Cougars will face off at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, TX. The game will be televised by NBC at 7:30 p.m. ET.
  • South Carolina at Tennessee – Sat., Oct. 31, 2009
    Smack talkers Steve Spurrier and Lane Kiffin square off for the first time. The game will be televised by ESPN at 7:45 p.m. ET.
  • Texas at Oklahoma State – Sat., Oct. 31, 2009
    Texas is 21-2 against OSU and has won 11 in a row. The game will be televised by ABC and/or ESPN2 at 8:00 p.m. ET.
  • USC at Oregon – Sat., Oct. 31, 2009
    The Trojans and Ducks have split the last two games in the series. The game will be televised by ABC and/or ESPN2 at 8:00 p.m. ET.
