Notre Dame Adds Western Michigan To 2010 Football Schedule

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish have added the Western Michigan Broncos to their 2010 football schedule, the schools announced on Friday. The Irish will host the Broncos in South Bend on October 16, 2010.
Notre Dame leads the overall series against Western Michigan 2-0. The games were played in 1919 and 1920, prior to the Broncos joining the Mid-American Conference (MAC).

Reportedly, this will be the first meeting for the Irish against a MAC opponent. To help make room on WMU’s 2010 schedule for the Irish, Virginia Tech agreed to move their game with the Broncos to 2016.
