I’m not sure how its computed but anyway, 9 of the 10 PAC-10’s teams are in the top 20. very interesting……

You are right kraal2004. It is strange that 9 of 10 PAC 10 teams would be ranked in the top 20. I think this poll is a load of crap.

How is the SOS a load of crap? In general, the Pac-10 schedules fewer FCS/Sun Belt teams than most conferences, and they play 9 conference games in what all computers call the strongest league in the country (6-0) in bowl games last year, where no game except for Wazzu is easy for anybody

The PAC-10 is a a great conference we play the toughest schedules in all of college football. We have 4 teams rank in the BCS. NOBODY in the SEC or BIG 12 want to play are better school beside washington state and washington come play with USC or OREGON.But they dont want to because they say that is to tough for them. Like in the sec they aren’t the strongest because of lack of schedules ,why do you do you they are so good because weak schedules.

An example for you: Georgia played Arizona State at ASU last year, and at Georgia this year and won both games. Georgia also plays at Oregon in 2015, and Oregon plays at Georgia in 2016.

And Oregon will kill Georgia in both years. What about the strongest team in the PAC-10 USC NOBODY wants to play them beside ohio state that is a top 25 team and the only top 25 team that will play them. But the last time we play SEC team was aubrun and own them.

The SEC doesn’t need to play the Pac-10. The Pac-10 embarasses themselves enough as it is. LSU beat Washington and then USC lost to Washington. Oregon lost to Boise State! And how about how LSU destroyed Arizona St., Oregon St and Arizona. We don’t have to play tough non conference teams, because our conference schedule makes it the toughest in the nation. #1 AND #2 are BOTH SEC teams.

Kyle are you serious? LSU destroyed Arizona ST.? The last bowl game they played they won 35 to 31 while Arizona St. put 540 yds on them. Wahington put 500 yds on LSU this yr and should have won. You dont get embarressed losing conference games or against top 10 teams. Whats embarrassing is claiming playing 2/3s of your conference each yr, so you might play 2 of the good teams is so hard, and then adding 4 1AA teams all at home, now thats embarressing, and them rambling about how hard it is, come on. The only reason you need a conf. championship is because they don’t all play each other. By the way look at the USC vs SEC and when you see scores of 70 to 17 and 50 to 14 then there was that 23 to 0 shut out of #5 Auburn at Auburn, now thats destroying.

But they had to cheat to win there games. That why LSUCK turn down to play USC. We play aubrun at there stadium kill them. So you re staying the PAC-10 suck its the SEC who suck. Florida or Alabama could not beat Ohio state. That is one of r weak school come play the big boys like USC Texas Oklahoma Ohio state Penn state. But you crybabys wont play with the big boy. You re scheduleing suck. go pac-10

The best Conferences
1. BIG 12 9. WAC
2. SEC 10. C USA
3. PAC-10 11. SUN BELT
4. BIG TEN
5. ACC
6. BIG EAST
7. MOUNTAIN WEST
8. MAC

Best conference Big 12?

Dam they play nobody either and besides Texas they all suck.

Pac 10 this year is by far the best conference.

Justin2011, I can appreciate the passion for your conference but, to digress a little here. Ohio State? Please the look at their record against the SEC. However, to stay on point here. The reason that “most” experts say the SEC is a greatest conference is the rivalries. The Georgia’s, Florida’s, Alabama’s, Auburn’s and Tennessee’s have all heated rivalries that date back for a number of years. Each year these teams are fighting for the same recruits within their conference. Who does USC really compete against in recruiting? No one! They have even started to venture in to the Southland to garnish some very respected recruits. Take a look at USA Today HS Prep to 25 and you will see that most of the teams ranked here are in the South. These schools are all headlined with recruits that the SEC teams fight over. Thus, they have a very intense rivalry that dates back for centuries. I don’t knock any conference and respect teams like USC that do try and face tough non-conference opponents but, the fact remains that the PAC-10 doesn’t have the same as far as fierce conference rivalries.

USC response: see Washington and Stanford.
OSU response: whose the 2nd best Big 10 school? Iowa? Penn St.? please.
SEC response: I think #1 and #2 are still both from the SEC. And I’m pretty sure that the SEC has won the last 4 of the last 6 national championships and will surely add one this year unless a very weak Texas team knocks off the winner of Florida and Bama.
Pac-10 respond: wow. seriously?

#1 and #2 Wow real tough games this week.Do they get byes next week? The big ten doesnt believe in bye weeks

sec is the #1 conference in the nation…. check the schedules… pac 10 and big 12 and the rest have 1 or 2 good teams but the sec always has 3 or 4…. look at the numbers and shut ur big mouths… sec rocks

The big ten obviously doesn’t believe in winning either. (see OSU’s last few national championship flops against SEC schools)

Even better yet, the SEC championship will for the second consecutive year have #1 and #2 face off. The big ten’s BCS rep this year will be OSU @ #10 in the Rose bowl. Oh, and maybe an awful Iowa team that couldn’t beat TCU, Cinn, or Boise St. And probably not Tennessee, Georgia, or LSU – who are all having a bad year compared to their recent successes.

Soooo, how did OSU do in those national championship games against Florida? Wow, your ignorance has made this awkward even for me. The SEC, Big 12, Pac-10, and Big East are all better than the Big 10 this year. I mean, your workhorse Michigan just finished last in your conference for the first time since 1962 and your best teams are #10 OSU and whatever you want to call Iowa. I call them “blown out in whatever bowl they find themselves in, unless they play Notre Dame”.

The pac-10 is better the your little sec conference. You have to have FACTS and thats something sec fans can’t put out there. Because ur nonconference is so weak like Eastern Kentucky, Miami OH. Thats why people think that the sec is so good because they end up 5-7 6-6 because lack of schedules.

If the pac-10 had 12 teams like the little sec we would be good to. But we wouldn’t have weak nonconference schedules like sec school do.

It will be Florida & Texas BCS NTG & Texas wins, Rose Bowl Oregon vs Ohio state, Oregon wins & Sugar bowl Alabama vs TCU & TCU wins & 2 years that the Mountain beat you. Orange bowl Cinn vs Georiga Tech, GT wins , Fiesta Bowl Penn st vs boise st Penn st wins.

justin2011, you truely are ignorant…
