By Kevin Kelley -

The 2009 NFL regular season is almost complete and the Playoffs are near! In the AFC, the Indianapolis Colts have clinched the AFC South Division title and will have home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.

The San Diego Chargers have clinched the AFC West and a playoff berth. Currently, the New England Patriots and the Cincinnati Bengals lead their divisions but have not clinched a playoff berth yet. The Baltimore Ravens and Denver Broncos lead the AFC Wild Card chase.

With six AFC teams having 7-7 records, berths for the AFC Playoffs may not be decided until the last week of the regular season and tiebreakers may be used.

In the NFC, the New Orleans Saints have clinched the NFC South Division title. The Arizona Cardinals have won the NFC West and the Philadelphia Eagles have clinched at least a playoff berth.

The Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys lead for an NFC Wild Card berth, and the New York Giants are still in the picture

We have updated our 2009-10 NFL Playoffs page with the schedule for the AFC and NFC Wild-Card games, Divisional games, Championship game and Super Bowl XLIV.
