2012 Baylor-Notre Dame Game at Superdome in New Orleans Canceled

The football game between the Baylor Bears and the Notre Fighting Irish scheduled for October 6, 2012 at the Superdome in New Orleans has been canceled, NOLA.com reported last August.
On Friday, Baylor announced a home-and-home series against the ULM Warhawks. One of those games is scheduled for 2012, giving the Bears four non-conference games (SMU, Sam Houston State and Rice are the others). On Baylor’s official website, Notre Dame has been removed from their 2012 schedule and 10/06/2012 is now listed as an open date.
As of today, Notre Dame does not appear on any of the future schedules for the Baylor Bears.
