New Orleans Saints, Minnesota Vikings to Kick Off 2010 NFL Season

The 2010 NFL football regular season will kick off on Thursday, September 9 when the defending Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints host the Minnesota Vikings. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell made the announcement this afternoon on a chat on NFL.com.
The game will be a rematch of the NFC Championship game which New Orleans won 31-28 in overtime.
The entire NFL schedule will be released at 7:00 p.m. ET today on NFL.com. FBSchedules.com will post the schedules throughout the evening.
