Boise State Broncos to join Mountain West Conference in 2011

The Mountain West Conference announced today that the Boise State Broncos have joined the MWC effective July 1, 2011.
The Broncos have been a member of the Western Athletic Conference since 2001. They won conference football championships in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2008 and 2009. In 2006, Boise State went 13-0 and upset the Oklahoma Sooners in the Fiesta Bowl.
