Penn State adds Navy to 2012 Football Schedule

The Penn State Nittany Lions have added the Navy Midshipmen to their 2012 football schedule, both schools reported today.
Penn State will host Navy at Beaver Stadium on September 15, 2012. The Nittany Lions were previously scheduled to host the Temple Owls on that date, but the game was moved to September 22.
The Nittany Lions and Midshipmen first played in 1894, a 6-6 tie. Penn State leads the overall series 18-17-2. In their last meeting in 1974, Navy won 7-6.
