Buffalo Bulls to play at Tennessee Volunteers in 2011

TennesseeBuffaloThe Buffalo Bulls will travel to face the Tennessee Volunteers in Knoxville in 2011, Buffalo has announced. The Bulls will travel to face the Volunteers at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville on October 1, 2011.

Earlier today, news broke that Tennessee was backing out of a 2011-12 home-and-home football series with North Carolina. As a result, the Volunteers have scheduled Buffalo for 2011. This will be the first ever meeting between the two schools.

Tennessee opens 2011 with back-to-back home games against Montana and Cincinnati, and later hosts Middle Tennessee. Buffalo hosts Stony Brook, plays at Pittsburgh and then returns home to face Connecticut.
