Florida Gators to Open 2012 Football Season at Home vs. Bowling Green

FloridaBowling GreenThe Florida Gators will open the 2012 football season against the Bowling Green Falcons (Source).

The game will be played at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium (The Swamp) in Gainesville on September 1. It will be the first ever meeting between the Gators of the SEC and the Falcons of the MAC.

Florida also plays at Florida State and hosts Jacksonville State in 2012. The Falcons’ 2012 non-conference schedule is complete with home games against Idaho and Rhode Island and a trip to Virginia Tech.

    C’mon, Florida! Jax State? I mean is the competition level getting worse or is it getting horrendous. We need to start stepping up the comp level for the first two games.

    The gators need to make a stand with the great new and improved timtebow which is brantley but I’m giving him a try at it. We need to take off the excess and be fresh and ready for a game
