The Florida State Seminoles will open the 2012 season against the Murray State Racers, the Palm Beach Post has reported. The game will be played on September 1, 2012.

This will be FSU’s first meeting with Murray State, a member of the Ohio Valley Conference in the Football Championship Subdivision.

The Seminoles’ 2012 non-conference schedule is now complete. FSU will open with back-to-back home games against Murray State and West Virginia. They will then play at USF on September 29 and will host the Florida Gators on November 24.

Yesterday, the Seminoles completed their 2011 non-conference schedule with the addition of a season opener against the ULM Warhawks.
