LSU adds South Alabama to 2016 Football Schedule

The LSU Tigers have added a game against the South Alabama Jaguars to their 2012 football schedule, South Alabama has announced. The Tigers will host the Jaguars in Baton Rouge on October 15, 2016.
This will be the first ever meeting between the two schools. South Alabama, an FCS school, expects to complete a full transition to the Football Bowl Championship Subdivision by the 2013 season. They will compete in the Sun Belt Conference.
South Alabama will also host Navy and travel to Mississippi State in 2016. The Tigers have 2016 non-conference games scheduled against Southern Miss at home and Arizona State at Tempe.
