Maryland, West Virginia extend Home-and-home Football Series through 2017

West VirginiaMarylandThe Maryland Terrapins and the West Virginia Mountaineers have extended their home-and-home football series through 2017, UMTerps.com has announced.

Maryland and West Virginia were previously scheduled to meet each year through 2013. The extension of the series brings the total to eight games overall with four games in Morgantown, West Virginia and four games in College Park, Maryland.

Listed below are the years and the locations of the matchups:

  • 09/18/2010 – at West Virginia
  • 2011 – at Maryland
  • 2012 – at West Virginia
  • 2013 – at Maryland
  • 2014 – at Maryland
  • 2015 – at West Virginia
  • 2016 – at West Virginia
  • 2017 – at Maryland

The Terrapins and Mountaineers have played 46 times since 1919. West Virginia leads the overall series 23-21-2 and has won the last four games.
