Boise State, Utah cancel 2011-13 football series

By Tim K. -

The Utah Utes and the Boise State Broncos have canceled their 2011-2013 football series, Utah Athletic Director Chris Hill announced Thursday.

The series was canceled because the Pac-10 will go to a nine-game conference schedule with the additions of Utah and Colorado beginning with the 2011 football season.

The games were scheduled for October 1, 2011 at Boise State, September 29, 2012 at Utah and September 28 2013 at Boise State.

Utah will replace Boise State with BYU on their 2011 and 2012 schedules.  No announcement has been made yet who Boise State will get to replace Utah on the Broncos future schedules.

this is a tough break for BSU, considering how many tough teams hesitate to play them, and now you have a team with a legitimate reason to back out of contract. Hopefully they’ll get some Big 12, Big 10, or Big East love and get some more reputable games.

Funny, I remember them saying the same thing about Utah, and Utah whipped Alabama’s over-rated behind.

BOISE STATE SHOULD WIN THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP AND KELLAN MOORE SHOULD WIN THE HEISMAN GO BRONCOS

It was the jews on the hill at Utah who did not want a guaranteed two losses for the next 2 seasons.
