Oklahoma State announces 2011 football schedule

The Oklahoma State Cowboys have announced their 2011 football schedule, which is highlighted by a visit from Arizona.

The Cowboys will open the 2011 season with three straight non-conference games: home against Louisiana-Lafayette (09/03) and Arizona (09/08) and then at Tulsa (09/17).

Update (04/29/11): The Arizona game was moved to Thursday, September 8 and will be televised by ESPN at 7:00 p.m. CT.

OSU begins their new 9-game Big 12 conference schedule on the road at Texas A&M on Sept. 24. After an open date on Oct. 1, the Cowboys have eight straight conference games: Kansas, at Texas, at Missouri, Baylor, Kansas State, at Texas Tech, at Iowa State and Oklahoma.

Due to the Big 12 scheduling change, Oklahoma State will host “Bedlam” for the second straight season. The Cowboys will also play at Texas for the second year in a row.
