The Navy Midshipmen and the Texas State Bobcats have scheduled a home-and-home football series for 2012 & 2015, the Bobcats have announced. The 2012 game will be the first ever between the two schools.
Navy will host Texas State at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis on November 17, 2012. The Midshipmen will travel to face the Bobcats at Bobcat Stadium in San Marcos on September 19, 2015.
Navy’s 2012 football schedule is now complete. The Midshipmen open the season against Notre Dame at Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ireland. Navy also hosts Rutgers and travels to Penn State, Air Force and East Carolina.
In 2015, Navy opens at home against UNLV and also hosts SMU, Air Force and Temple.
How about a coach Texas state ? I applaud the move to the WAC but the bobcats stand no chance even,against navy without a sub par coach . Franchione / Leach / Fulmer please stand up !
Hats off to Navy for a fair deal…a home and home series. The home game with such a well known program will only help Texas State.
Can’t wait for both of these games.
