Arkansas-LSU Game Moves Back to Friday

LSUArkansasArkansas and LSU battle annually for the Golden Boot. Starting in 2011 and continuing through the 2012 season, the game will move back to the Friday after Thanksgiving.

The game was moved to Saturday in 2009 and 2010 to feature the Iron Bowl, which pits Auburn against Alabama. Prior to that move, the Razorbacks and Tigers met on the Friday after Thanksgiving each year from 1995 through 2008.

LSU leads the overall series against Arkansas 34-20-2. And the Tigers are 9-5 against the Razorbacks on the Friday after Thanksgiving.

The 2011 game will be Friday, November 25 and the 2012 game will be Friday, November 23. Both games will be televised by CBS at 1:30 p.m. CT.
