Utah State announce 2011 non-conference football schedule

The Utah State Aggies have announced their 2011 non-conference football schedule, which features games at Auburn and BYU.

Utah State will open the 2011 season at Auburn on September 3. The Tigers are playing in the BCS National Championship Game Monday night against Oregon. This will be the first ever meeting between the Aggies and the Tigers.

The Aggies return home to host Weber State on September 10 and Colorado State on September 24.

On Friday, September 30, Utah State travel to Provo, Utah to face the newly independent BYU Cougars. BYU leads the overall series against Utah State 43-34-3.

USU’s final non-conference game is October 8 at home against the Wyoming Cowboys.

Nice mix of a schedule for the Aggies…that game against Auburn will be a doozy and the rematch w/BYU will bear watching. USU can beat the 3 other teams on the docket and with the weakened WAC next year,should and could bowling.
