Clemson Tigers announce 2011 Football Schedule

ClemsonThe Clemson Tigers have announced their 2011 football schedule, which features games against Auburn, South Carolina, Boston College, Florida State, Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech.

Clemson opens the 2011 season with three straight non-conference games at home: Troy on September 3, Wofford on September 10 and the defending national champion Auburn Tigers on September 17.

The final non-conference game for the Tigers is their annual end-of-season showdown against the South Carolina Gamecocks. This year’s game will be played November 26 in Columbia.

Clemson opens ACC play on September 24 at home against Florida State. The remainder of their conference schedule includes at Virginia Tech (10/01), Boston College (10/08), at Maryland (10/15), North Carolina (10/22), at Georgia Tech (10/29), Wake Forest (11/12) and at NC State (11/19).

The ACC Championship Game will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.
