Baylor Bears make changes to Future Football Schedules

By Kevin Kelley -

BaylorThe Baylor Bears have made several changes to their future football schedules according to their official website. Most notable is the removal of a home-and-home series with Navy.

Baylor was scheduled to host Navy on September 19, 2015 and travel to Annapolis on September 3, 2016. Both of those games have been removed. The Bears will now host Lamar on September 12, 2015 and need one more game in 2016.

The Bears previously scheduled a home-and-home with ULM for 2012 and 2013, but the two schools have swapped host dates. Baylor will now travel to ULM on September 22, 2012 and host the Warhawks on August 31, 2013.

Baylor has also extended their series with the SMU Mustangs. The Bears will travel to SMU in 2017 (09/02) and 2019 (08/31) and will host the Mustangs in 2018 (09/22).

A 2014 home game against the Rice Owls has also been replaced by Northwestern State.
