Indiana releases Future Football Schedules through 2014

The Indiana Hoosiers have finalized their future football schedules through the 2014 season, the school announced today.

Indiana opens the 2012 season at home against the Indiana State Sycamores. Indiana is 3-0 all-time against Indiana State, with wins coming in 1925, 2003 and 2007.

Other non-conference games for Indiana in 2012 include at UMass, at Navy and home vs. Ball State. UMass will be playing their first season in the MAC in 2012. IU leads the overall series against Navy 2-0 and Ball State 4-1.

The Hoosiers play 2012 Big Ten games at home vs. Michigan State, Ohio State, Iowa and Wisconsin and road games at Northwestern, Illinois, Penn State and Purdue.

The 2013 schedule kicks off with a home opener against Indiana State, followed by three more non-conference games at home against Navy, Bowling Green and Missouri. IU and Bowling Green have never played, while the Hoosiers are 6-2-2 all-time against Missouri.

Big Ten play begins at home vs. Penn State, followed by at Michigan State, at Michigan, Minnesota, Illinois, at Wisconsin, at Ohio State and home vs. Purdue.

Just like 2012 and 2013, Indiana opens the 2014 season at home against Indiana State. The Hoosiers then travel to Bowling Green and Missouri and later host North Texas. Indiana and North Texas face each other for the first time in 2011.

The Big Ten schedule for Indiana in 2014 includes home contests against Michigan, Michigan State, Wisconsin and Ohio State. Road games include Illinois, Penn State, Minnesota and Purdue.
