Purdue Boilermakers announce changes to Future Football Schedules

By Kevin Kelley -

The Purdue Boilermakers have announced changes to their future football schedules, including the cancellation of two games against the Cincinnati Bearcats.

Purdue was scheduled to host Cincinnati on Aug. 30, 2014 and travel to face the Bearcats on Sept. 5, 2015. Both of those games have been cancelled. The two schools will still meet on Aug. 31, 2013 at Cincinnati and Sept. 3, 2016 at Purdue.

In place of the Sept. 5, 2015 game at Cincinnati, the Purdue Boilermakers will now travel to face the Marshall Thundering Herd. The game against the Herd was originally slated for the 2017 season.

Purdue’s football schedules are set through the 2013 season, including their Big Ten slate. Their 2014 schedule now lacks one non-conference game, the season-opener.
