2011 Preseason AP Top 25 Poll released; Oklahoma No. 1

The 2011 preseason AP Top 25 College Football Poll has been released and the Oklahoma Sooners top the rankings. Oklahoma received 36 first place votes and 1,464 total points.

The SEC has a record eight teams in the Top 25 poll to lead all conferences. The Big 12 and Big Ten are tied for second with four teams each. Listed below is the full conference breakdown:

  • Big Ten – 4
  • Pac-12 – 3
  • ACC – 2
  • Mtn. West – 2
  • Indep. – 1

From the look of Boise’s scrimmage yesterday they will finish out 10 and 2 with losses to Georgia and TCU.

Wow…after 1 down year the Longhorns do not appear in the top 25. Sad, they’ll be there though before the end of the year.

Why do they never learn that Norte Damn is over rated every year and not rank them… USC in the top 25 why would you put a school who has been in as much touble as they have in the top 25 what a joke these preseason ranking are a joke. Go WVU!!!!
