By Kevin Kelley -

IowaThe Iowa Hawkeyes have added several games to their future non-conference football schedules, TheGazette.com has reported.

Iowa opens the 2015 season at home against Illinois State, likely September 5. The Hawkeyes then play at Iowa State on Sept. 12, host Pittsburgh on Sept. 19 and host North Texas (date TBA).

In 2016, Iowa hosts North Dakota State at Kinnick Stadium on Sept. 3, followed by Iowa State on Sept. 10 and Central Michigan (date TBA). Iowa was scheduled to play at Pittsburgh, but that game appears to have been postponed or cancelled.

Iowa is scheduled to visit Iowa State on Sept. 9, 2017 and will also host North Texas.
