The Michigan Wolverines have added the UMass Minutemen to their 2012 football schedule, GazetteNet.com has reported.
Michigan will host UMass at Michigan Stadium on September 15, 2012. In their first and only meeting in 2010, the Minutemen visited Ann Arbor and nearly pulled of a huge upset before falling 42-37.
The matchup completes the 2012 non-conference schedules for both teams. Michigan also plays Alabama in Arlington (Sept. 1), hosts Air Force (Sept. 8) and travels to Notre Dame (Sept. 22).
UMass, who will play their first season in the MAC next year, travels to UConn (Sept. 30) and Vanderbilt (Oct. 27) and hosts Indiana (Sept. 8).
