No. 1 LSU at No. 2 Alabama moved to Prime Time on CBS

By Kevin Kelley -

CBS has announced that the Nov. 5 game between the no. 1 LSU Tigers and the no. 2 Alabama Crimson Tide will be televised in prime time at 8:00 p.m. ET.

The game was previously scheduled for a 3:30 p.m. ET start. Gary Danielson and Verne Lundquist will call the game from the booth with Tracy Wolfson down on the field.

LSU is ranked 1st and Alabama is ranked 2nd in both the AP and Coaches Poll. Yesterday, LSU crushed #20 Auburn 45-10 while Alabama rolled over Tennessee 37-6.

The Tigers beat the Crimson Tide last year 24-21 in Baton Rouge, but Alabama leads the overall series 45-24-5.

Bullshit on CBS! Won’t allow the Tigers to have a SEC game at night, but freely change the time for this game!?!?

Ridiculous that Alabama – Ole Miss got the night game last Saturday instead of #1 LSU vs the defending national champions…

The TV networks pick in a certain order. CBS only had the 3:30 slot for that weekend and they pick first. So they picked No. 1 LSU. That’s just the way it works.

Fat butt Verne and retard Gary may not be the best, but they are so much better then 97% of the ESPN people

Please. Verene and Gary are two of the best in the biz. I would much rather listen to those two than listen to a single minute of Gus Johnson screaming like a drunk fanboy. A lot of the ESPiN crews are sub-par too. I do like Sean McDonough though. Wish he was still with CBS.

No wonder LSU and LESS Miles are number one. Calls like that one at the goal line taking the ball away from Alabama. Wonder how big the check was from Less to the refs?

I think the check was only about 20,000, the call for striping the ball from Ark. Cost just under 10,000!

That game played earlier this month between Alabama-Lsu with the final score was 6-9 in
Overtime was the game of the year including any Super Bowl. GO TIDE this time make
