By Kevin Kelley -

The 2011 SEC Championship football game is set with the Georgia Bulldogs facing the LSU Tigers. The game will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. ET at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta (CBS).

Georgia (9-2, 7-1 SEC) clinched the SEC East Division with a 19-10 win over Kentucky on Nov. 19. LSU (12-0, 8-0 SEC) beat Arkansas 41-17 on Friday to wrap up the SEC West Division.

The Tigers lead the overall series against the Bulldogs 15-12-1. The two schools have met twice in the SEC Championship Game. LSU won 34-13 in 2003 and Georgia won 34-14 in 2005.

Georgia vs. LSU. Pretty good match up considering that these two teams have not played in regular season. My prediction:

LSU 45 Georgia 17

Reason: I don’t think Georgia defense can stop the LSU offense. Arron Murray has to make good throws in this game. If not, Tarran Matheu will grab a couple.
