Rice Owls announce 2012 Football Schedule
The Rice Owls have announced their 2012 football schedule, which features games against Kansas, UCLA, Houston, SMU, Southern Miss, UCF and UTEP.
Rice opens the 2012 season at home on Sept. 1 against the UCLA Bruins. The Owls also have non-conference games at Kansas (Sept. 8), at Louisiana Tech (Sept. 15) and home vs. UTSA (Oct. 13).
Rice opens 2012 C-USA play on Sept. 22 at home against Marshall. The remainder of their conference slate includes vs. Houston (Sept. 29; at Reliant Stadium), at Memphis (Oct. 6), at Tulsa (Oct. 20), vs. Southern Miss (Oct. 27), at Tulane (Nov. 3), vs. SMU (Nov. 17) and at UTEP (Nov. 24).
The 2012 C-USA Championship Game will be played on Saturday, Dec. 1 and will be hosted by the team with the highest C-USA winning %.
Football Schedules:
I thought the 2012 game against Houston was supposed to be at Reliant Stadium.
