Southern Miss releases 2014-15 Home-and-home Football dates against BYU

The Southern Miss Golden Eagles have released their 2014-15 home-and-home series dates against BYU on their official website.
BYU will host Southern Miss at LaVell Edwards Stadium in Provo on Nov. 8, 2014. On Oct. 17, 2015, the Cougars will travel to face the Golden Eagles at M.M. Roberts Stadium in Hattiesburg.
BYU and Southern Miss have played twice and the series is tied at one game each. Southern Miss won 42-14 in 1975 in Jackson. The following year, the Cougars returned the favor by rolling over the Golden Eagles 63-19 in Provo.
The two schools initially announced this home-and-home series in July 2011.
Football Schedules:
Not great, but a lot better than Idaho.

BYU and Southern Miss might not be in 2 big conferences, but they are 2 very decent programs and I think this will be some great games to watch! This coming from a C-USA fan.

Another mega-game for BYU. Independence looks totally awesome. Gotta love that home schedule & proving all those doubters wrong. I’m really hoping to land Tulane or a big name from the MAC.

I’ll be watching this series on TV. 2013 will likely be the last year I renew my BYU football season tickets.
