The UNLV Rebels have completed their 2012 non-conference football schedule, Director of Athletics Jim Livengood announced today.
The Rebels have added a home game against the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks on Sept. 8, which gives UNLV a 13-game schedule. Since the Rebels are traveling to face Hawaii, they are taking advantage of The Hawaii Exemption.
UNLV will play seven games at Sam Boyd Stadium and will open the 2012 season with three straight non-conference games at home: Minnesota (Sept. 1), Northern Arizona (Sept. 8) and Washington State (Sept. 15).
The Rebels will travel to face Utah State on Sept. 29 and Louisiana Tech on Oct. 6.
UNLV’s Mountain West home games will be Air Force, Nevada, New Mexico, and Wyoming. Road MWC games are Boise State, Colorado State, Hawaii, and San Diego State. Dates for these games should be announced in March.
