Baylor Bears announce 2012 Football Schedule

Baylor BearsThe Baylor Bears have announced their 2012 football schedule, which features games against SMU, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, TCU, Texas and West Virginia.

Baylor opens the 2012 season at home on Sept. 1 against the SMU Mustangs. Following an open date, the Bears have non-conference games at home vs. Sam Houston State (Sept. 15) and at ULM (Sept. 22).

Baylor kicks off the 2012 Big 12 season with a trip to new conference member West Virginia on Sept. 29. After an off week, the Bears host the TCU Horned Frogs on Oct. 13. TCU is also playing its first season in the Big 12.

The Bears then have back-to-back road games at Texas on Oct. 20 and Iowa State on Oct. 27. Kansas visits Waco on Nov. 3, which will be Homecoming weekend.

Baylor closes out conference play at Oklahoma (Nov. 10), vs. Kansas State (Nov. 17), vs. Texas Tech (Nov. 24; at Cowboys Stadium) and vs. Oklahoma State (Dec. 1).
