The North Carolina Tar Heels have announced their 2012 football schedule, which features games against Louisville, Georgia Tech, Miami, NC State and Virginia Tech.
North Carolina opens the 2012 season at home on Sept. 1 against Elon. UNC also has non-conference games at Louisville on Sept. 15 and at home against East Carolina on Sept. 22 and Idaho on Sept. 29.
The Tar Heels open conference play on Sept. 8 at Wake Forest. The rest of their 2012 ACC schedule includes vs. Virginia Tech (Oct. 6), at Miami (Oct. 13), at Duke (Oct. 20), vs. NC State (Oct. 27), vs. Georgia Tech (Nov. 10), at Virginia (Thurs., Nov. 15) and vs. Maryland (Nov. 24).
The 2012 ACC Championship Game will be played on Saturday, Dec. 1 at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, NC.
