The Connecticut Huskies have announced their 2012 football schedule, which features games against Maryland, NC State, Cincinnati, Louisville, Pittsburgh and Rutgers.
Connecticut opens the 2012 season at home on Thursday, Aug. 30 against new FBS member UMass. The Huskies follow that game with four more non-conference contests: NC State (Sept. 8), at Maryland (Sept. 15), at Western Michigan (Sept. 22) and home vs. Buffalo (Fri., Sept. 28).
UConn kicks off the 2012 Big East season on Oct. 6 at Rutgers. The rest of their conference slate includes vs. Temple (Oct. 13), at Syracuse (Fri., Oct. 19), at USF (Nov. 3), vs. Pittsburgh (Fri., Nov. 9) and at Louisville (Nov. 24).
The Huskies close out the 2012 regular season at home against the Cincinnati Bearcats on Saturday, Dec. 1.
