Ohio BobcatsThe Ohio Bobcats have scheduled a home-and-home football series against the Kansas Jayhawks (2016-17) and the Cincinnati Bearcats (2018 & 2020), the school announced today.

Ohio will travel to face Kansas at Memorial Stadium in Lawrence on Sept. 10, 2016. The Jayhawks will then make their first ever trip to face the Bobcats at Peden Stadium in Athens on Sept. 16, 2017.

Ohio and Kansas have only met once in their history. The Bobcats defeated the Jayhawks 30-15 in Lawrence in 1967.

Ohio and Cincinnati have met a total of 50 times since 1896. The last time Cincinnati played in Athens was on Oct. 10, 1981. That was also the last time the two schools played despite being separated by only about 155 miles.

The addition of Cincinnati and Kansas gives Ohio their first scheduled non-conference games for the 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2020 seasons.

mid major getting home and home with 2 of the big boys more power to them! Usually mac teams end up with an away or at best 2 for 1 with the bcs teams.
