2012 NFL Sunday Night Football Schedule

NFLThe 2012 Sunday Night Football Schedule on NBC is set. Sunday Night Football kicks off with a game on Wednesday, yes Wednesday, Sept. 5 at 8:30 p.m. ET with the New York Giants hosting the Dallas Cowboys. The game is the regular season-opener for the NFL.

There will also be a special edition of Sunday Night Football on Thanksgiving night which is Thursday, Nov. 22. The New York Jets will host the Super Bowl runner-up New England Patriots.

Counting the Wednesday and Thursday games, there are a total of 18 regular-season NFL games schedule for Sunday Night Football on NBC.

Preseason (all games at 8:00 p.m. ET):

  • Aug. 19 – Indianapolis at Pittsburgh
  • Aug. 26 – Carolina at N.Y. Jets

Regular Season (all games at 8:20 p.m. ET):

  • Sept. 5 – Dallas at N.Y. Giants (Wednesday, 8:30 p.m. ET)
  • Sept. 9 – Pittsburgh at Denver
  • Sept. 16 – Detroit at San Francisco
  • Sept. 23 – New England at Baltimore
  • Sept. 30 – N.Y. Giants at Philadelphia
  • Oct. 7 – San Diego at New Orleans
  • Oct. 14 – Green Bay at Houston
  • Oct. 21 – Pittsburgh at Cincinnati
  • Oct. 28 – New Orleans at Denver
  • Nov. 4 – Dallas at Atlanta
  • Nov. 11 – Houston at Chicago
