The Liberty Flames will travel to Morgantown to face the West Virginia Mountaineers in 2015, Liberty has announced.

An exact date for the contest will be determined later. The game will be only the second meeting ever between the two schools. West Virginia beat Liberty 33-20 in 2009 in Morgantown.

West Virginia now has three non-conference games tentatively slated for each season through 2016. Here is a look at their future opponents:

  • 2013 – Maryland (at Baltimore, MD), East Carolina, William & Mary
  • 2014 – Alabama (at Atlanta, GA), at Maryland, Towson
  • 2015 – East Carolina, Liberty, Maryland
  • 2016 – BYU (at Landover, MD), at East Carolina, Maryland

Liberty, which is led by former Buffalo and Kansas head coach Turner Gill, also confirmed games at Kent State in 2013 and at Virginia Tech in 2015.

Why not bring on Notre Dame??
Mountaineers all remember
National Championship Game.
It payback time!!!

Screw ND I’m sick of them for goodness sake keep them out of the big 12 they are worse then strippers all fluff and no substance. Leave them to wallow around in the Big East.

Alabama and BYU sound good…. But what about Pitt? Penn State? Notre Dame? Bring them back! I will be first in line for those tickets. Finally we get a schedule this year that people can’t laugh off and then they put James Madison on it? Now William and Mary? (NO offense I’m sure they are great schools and good teams) But COME ON!!
