Alabama, LSU top Week 4 AP Top 25 Poll

The AP Top 25 Poll for week 4 has been released, and Alabama and LSU top the latest rankings. Oregon, Florida State, and Georgia round out the Top 5.

After their 21-14 win over then no. 2 USC, the Stanford Cardinal jumped from 21st to 9th. The loss dropped the Trojans from 2nd to 13th.

Notre Dame also made a big leap in the standings, moving from 20th to 11th after defeating Michigan State 20-3.

New teams in the Top 25 include Boise State, Mississippi State, and Nebraska. BYU, Tennessee, and Virginia Tech all dropped from the rankings after they each lost on Saturday.
