Losses by Top 10 teams Florida State, Georgia, LSU, and Texas resulted in big changes in both the AP and USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll this week.

Florida State lost 17-16 at unranked NC State to fall from 3rd to 12th in the AP Poll and 4th to 11th in the Coaches Poll. LSU, which was 4th in the AP and 3rd in the Coaches, lost at Florida 14-6 and dropped to 9th and 8th, respectively.

Georgia, previously ranked 5th in both polls, fell even further after getting demolished 35-7 at no. 6 South Carolina. The Bulldogs are now ranked 14th in the AP Poll and 12th in the Coaches Poll.

The Texas Longhorns also dropped out of the Top 10 after suffering a 48-45 defeat at the hands of new Big 12 member West Virginia. UT is now 15th in both polls.

The new AP Top 5 is now Alabama, Oregon, South Carolina, Florida, and West Virginia. The Coaches Top 5 is Alabama, Oregon, South Carolina, West Virginia, and Kansas State. The full polls are listed below.
