Super Bowl XLVII has a very big storyline that most people are talking and writing about. It will be the first Super Bowl to feature opposing head coaching brothers, John Harbaugh (Baltimore) and Jim Harbaugh (San Francisco). The game has been given nicknames such as the Harbaugh Bowl, HarBowl, Super Baugh, Brother Bowl, and Bro Bowl.
Baltimore will be playing in their second Super Bowl. The Ravens beat the New York Giants 34-7 to win Super Bowl XXXV in 2001.
The 49ers have appeared in five Super Bowls and won each time, but haven’t played in the big game since their last win in Super Bowl XXIX (1994). San Francisco also won in 1981 (XVI), 1984 (XIX), 1988 (XXIII), and 1989 (XXIV).
