The 2013 college football season starts on Thursday, Aug. 29, and the North Carolina Tar Heels will take the field that day. UNC travels to face the No. 6 South Carolina Gamecocks (6 p.m. ET on ESPN).

The biggest game on the SEC Week 1 Schedule is arguably the same for the ACC. No. 8 Clemson hosts No. 5 Georgia in a nationally televised game at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.

But a case can also be made for the only ACC vs. ACC match-up in Week 1: Florida State at first-year member Pittsburgh on Labor Day.
