The Penn State Nittany Lions have added the San Diego State Aztecs to their 2015 football schedule, PSU officially announced today.

Penn State will host San Diego State at Beaver Stadium in University Park on Sept. 26, 2015. The game will be the first ever meeting between the two schools.

Penn State now needs only one more non-conference game to complete their 2015 football schedule. The Nittany Lions open the season at Temple on Sept. 5 and host Buffalo on Sept. 12.

In Big Ten play, Penn State will host Rutgers, Indiana, Illinois, and Michigan and will travel to Ohio State, Maryland (at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore), Northwestern, and Michigan State.

San Diego State now has their second non-conference game in 2015 to accompany a Sept. 12 trip to face the California Golden Bears.

The Aztecs will host Mountain West Conference games in 2015 against Fresno State, Nevada, Utah State, and Wyoming and will travel to Colorado State, Hawaii, San Jose State, and UNLV.
