Alabama, Florida State 1-2 in all Week 12 College Football Polls

By Kevin Kelley -

The Alabama Crimson Tide and the Florida State Seminoles are ranked first and second, respectively, in all three college football polls for Week 12.

Alabama was already first, but Florida State moved up to second in each poll after their 59-3 thumping of Wake Forest and then No. 2 Oregon’s 26-20 loss at Stanford.

Oregon fell four spots to 6th in both the AP Poll and Harris Poll and five spots to 7th in the Coaches Poll.

LSU lost to Alabama 38-17 and fell eight spots to 18th in the AP, six spots to 18th in the Coaches, and six spots to 17th in the Harris. Oklahoma and Miami (FL) also dropped heavily in each poll after suffering losses in Week 11.

Teams entering the polls this week include Texas (23 AP, 24 Coaches, 24 Harris), Georgia (25 AP, 25 Harris), and Minnesota (25 Coaches).

Falling out of all three polls were Notre Dame (lost to Pitt 28-21) and Texas Tech (lost to K-State 49-26).
