2013 Big Ten Championship Game – Michigan State vs. Ohio State

The 2013 Big Ten Football Championship Game is set with the Michigan State Spartans facing the Ohio State Buckeyes. The game will be played on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 8 p.m. ET (FOX) at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, IN.

Michigan State (11-1, 8-0 B1G) clinched the Legends Division title and a spot in the championship game with a 30-6 win over Northwestern on Nov. 23. The Spartans will make their second appearance in the championship game in the last three years.

Ohio State (12-0, 8-0 B1G) is making their first appearance in the championship game as winners of the Leaders Division. The Buckeyes clinched their spot in the championship game with a win over Indiana last week.

The Buckeyes lead the overall series between the two schools 28-13.

If Ohio State wins, they might earn a spot in the 2014 BCS National Championship Game at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena on Jan. 6. Should the Buckeyes not finish in the Top 2 of the BCS, they would play in the Rose Bowl on Jan. 1. Michigan State would also play in the Rose Bowl with a victory.
