CBS Sports Network to Air Top 10 SEC on CBS Football Games

CBS Sports Network will air the Top 10 SEC on CBS college football games since 2001, the network CBS Sports announced today. The replays will begin on Thursday, Dec. 26.

The Top 10 games were chosen by a “panel of CBS Sports experts.” Seven of the games are from the last four seasons, and the oldest is from 2001.

Here’s a breakdown of the Top 10 games by school:

  • Alabama – 7
  • Auburn – 3
  • Florida – 3
  • Georgia – 2
  • LSU – 2
  • Texas A&M – 2
  • Tennessee – 1

Looks like the CBS Sports Network will be Alabama TV for a week.
Seven Alabama Crimson Tide games, wow. That’s a lot of Crimson.

There was only one from 2007 that I might have added to the list.
Kentucky upsetting #1 LSU in Overtime. Tigers went on to win the BCS Title.

Yes, though five of the seven are Alabama losses, so it shouldn’t be that unbearable to watch for those haters out there. But for us Alabama fans, we probably won’t be watching.

Really? What about LSU-Kentucky in 2002 where LSU beat Kentucky on the hail mary? That should be at least in the top 8!

The other weird thing is how Texas A&M has only been an SEC team for two years, yet has more good SEC games than Tennessee
