College Themed Android Keyboard Giveaway from Adaptxt

By Andy Coffaro -

Florida State’s comeback win over Auburn in the BCS National Championship game Monday night concluded another fantastic year of college football. There were teams that came out of nowhere to surprise us (Duke), schools that crumbled mightily down the stretch (Florida), and upsets by Michigan St., Central Florida, Oklahoma, and Clemson to send the BCS era out with a bang.

To commemorate another awesome year of college football, we’re giving away 10 copies of the Adaptxt college spirit keyboards for Android. (Sorry, no iPhone version just yet.) Adaptxt created the first officially licensed and best college keyboard for Android by giving you the logos, colors, and even dictionaries customized for your school. Here’s a cool example of that latter: Let’s say you were texting your friends on Monday night with the Auburn keyboard and started to type “Mal.” The word Malzahn is instantly offered up to you because it knows the names of the coaches and players on Auburn. Now it takes way less keystrokes when you’re texting with your friends before, during, and after the game.

Here’s how to win the Adaptxt college spirit keyboard: Simply tell us in the comments section below your favorite moment of the 2013 season. We’ll select the 10 comments that make us think, laugh, and stir up debate from your fellow FBSchedules readers. Just make sure to enter a valid email address so we can contact you if you win (your email will not be published).

As a diehard Michigan fan, it pains me to say that I liked seeing a rival win, but I loved seeing MSU show OSU that defense wins championships. That Big Ten Championship game was incredible, and the best of all the conferences during championship week.

As a diehard Michigan State fan, it thrills me to say that I liked seeing a rival lose, but I loved seeing (insert name of random opponent here) show UM that defense wins championships. That Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl was incredible, and the best of all the random uneventful games that were played well before championship week.

My favorite moment of the college football season was watching Tajh Boyd kneel to run out the clock at the end of the Orange Bowl and the referees calling a 15-yard sideline infraction penalty on Clemson. It was just the Clemson way. Nothing that we ever do goes smoothly and there are always fireworks. Being a long suffering Tiger fan, I knew that when Clemson went up late, they would do anything in their power to try to give the game to OSU and they almost did, but in the end we came out on top for the huge win.

The best highlight for me was seeing Fresno State finally win its first outright conference championship since 1992. To do it on its own field made it even more special. Coach Deruter has been the best thing to happen to this program. I am a huge State fan and can’t wait to what happens in the next few years. “Bulldog born, Bulldog bred, I’m a Bulldog until the day I’m dead!!!”

My favorite highlight was seeing the Missouri Tigers seal up their Cotton Bowl win against their old rivals Oklahoma State Cowboys when the Michael Sam sack and forced fumble with Shane Ray scooping up the football and running it back 73 yards for the touchdown late in the 4th quarter. Sweet!!!

Has to be being present for Penn States 4 OT win over Michigan. What a game! Allen Robinsons catch towards the end of regulation was simply remarkable!
